We started Hannibal Area Swing Association in February 2021. For the first several months we met at Greater Days in downtown Hannibal, before switching to the YMCA of Hannibal for many years until in June 2026 we moved to Second Story Swing at Main Street Social House.

In May 2025 we started West Coast Swing at Dick Brothers Events.

Our aim is to provide opportunities in and around Hannibal for social dancing, especially swing dancing. Our primary focus has been East Coast Swing, but we have expanded to Lindy-Hop and West Coast Swing at regularly scheduled events, and have hosted events in other styles as well.

We almost always offer beginner lessons, and sometimes beginner and regular lessons to help our community develop our skills.

Most of our events are free to attend, so we rely on the generosity of those in attendance and other benefactors for our financial viability. Please consider making a contribution today.
